Vinatex Danang Renews for International Integration
In 2002, Danang Textile Manufacturing Export Import Company (Vinatex Danang) was set up from the merger of the Vinatex Danang Branch and the Thanh Son Textile and Garment Company. In recent years, thanks to great supports of the Vietnam National Textile and Garment Corporation (Vinatex), the company could invest in expanding production scales and renew technologies. The management systems are regularly upgraded and its products have an increasing number of potential customers.
In addition, Vinatex Danang continues trade promotion methods and customer care policies for its traditional customers like Supreme-Perry, Ellist-MeaWear, ChiaMoon and TaHsin. The firm has also organised expertise marketing units to further tap the domestic market. Before the threshold of the international economic integration, Vinatex Danang outlined projects to develop its company logos and product brands and register for protection.
In the field of technology and product quality management, Vinatex Danang applies working processes as well as standardised professional operations for specific kinds of products, regularly upgrades information, builds rewarding mechanism, and increases close control over product quality. The investment in working equipment and human resource development for functional division has enabled the company to raise competition capacity as the national economy steps into a new integration phase.
Vinatex Danang is speeding up the construction of the Phu My Garment Factory in the second phase and the warehouse at Thanh Son Factory 88, continually supplementing modern specialised equipment to raise productivity and product quality, and fully tapping equipment efficiency. Vinatex Danang is completing mechanisms and policies for salary and bonus distributions to encourage its workforce to perform at the full capacity and strengthen the solidarity.
The plan to train and retrain its workforce for the future development of the company is a vital orientation. In the short term, Vinatex Danang will train garment workers at the factories to supplement labour for expanded units.
