Leading Furniture Exporter Receives Business Excellence Award 2006
Truong Thanh Furniture Corporation, one of the leading furniture manufacturer and exports of Vietnam, on August 26 was provided with the Business Excellence Award 2006 by the National Committee for International Economic Cooperation and Trade Newspaper.
The award was presented to 115 Vietnamese enterprises of all business lines via a 6-month survey conducted by the above organizations, in cooperation with Vietnamese commercial sections in foreign countries.
The major products of Truong Thanh are outdoor and indoor wooden products of all kinds, and flooring, which are mainly exported to the key markets of EU, Japan, the US, Australia and others with the annual volume of 2,500 40-feet containers.
The corporation expects to obtain revenues of VND1,270 billion (US$81.41 million) in 2006, up 26 per cent over the last year. At present, the corporation has six factories in Vietnam and another in Laos with total number of workers and staff of 5,500.
