HSBC Installs First Two ATMs outside Its Vietnam Headquarter
The Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC) on September 22 inaugurated two new automated teller machines (ATMs) in Vietnam, one in Hanoi and another in Ho Chi Minh City.
These are the first ATMs the bank has installed outside its head offices in the Southeast Asian country.
HSBC, with two branches in the two biggest cities of Vietnam, is now known as the largest foreign bank in Vietnam in terms of investment capital, operation network, staff and potential clients.
Currently, HSBC’s clients can access to 800 transaction offices nationwide under cooperation deals between the bank and domestic banks and 65 branches of the Technological and Commercial Bank of Vietnam (Techcombank), a strategic partner of HSBC.
