Gas Prices Keeps Dropping Sharply
Gas traders in Vietnam reduced the cooking gas retail price by VND12,000 for a canister of 12kg in October, raising the total reduction since September to VND17,000.
The reduction is attributable to the global fall in gas price by $79 a ton to $482.5, Tuoi Tre newspaper said.
Currently, a 12-kg gas canister costs averagely VND165,000-166,000.
According to gas traders, last year, Vietnam used up 830,000 tons of LPG, including 500,000 tons from imports.
