Capital Mobilization by Amecian Securities Market

Over 100 Vietnamese businesses have participated in the seminar on the mobilization of capital through American securities market sponsored by VCCI and Providential Holdings, Inc (USA) in Hanoi last September 19.

The American company has already assisted the listing of Cavico VN in American securities market. Accordi9ng Mr. Henry D. Fehman, Chairman and CEO of Providential Holdings, Inc, currently the US has five big securities markets : NYSE, AMEX, NASDAQ, OTCBB (Over the Counter Bulletin Board) and Pink Sheets. The total transaction volume is some 7.5 billion shares a day with the total value of over US$93 billion.

 

Mr. Fehman said that Vietnamese businesses can directly approach international financial markets, in particular to find opportunities to introduce their products to American markets. Vietnamese businesses can co-ordinate products and financial markets to develop and compete with foreign companies. They should change from private to public companies and list on American and European securities markets through IPO, Spin-off, SNN (Reverse Merger). They will also be in a better position to access capital through American and European financial markets by means of PIPE or financial investment companies and funds.
