Vinacafe, Bibica Selected as Sole Coffee, Candy Providers for APEC

APEC Vietnam 2006 organizers have just choose Vinacafe Bien Hoa and Bibica as main suppliers of coffee and confectionery for the very important meeting to be held in Hanoi from Nov 12 to 19.

Accordingly, Bien Hoa Coffee Joint Stock Company or Vinacafe Bien Hoa will provide eight tons of coffee for the summit. Part of it will be used as present for officials and foreign enterprises which will help introduce Vietnam coffee trademarks to the world.

The company also promised to offer 300 special coffee presents with high quality and good-looking package for chiefs of states.

Vinacafe Bien Hoa won the prize for outstanding achievements in applying the intellectual property system in production granted by the United Nations in 2005 which is seen as "passport" for Vinacafe to enlarge its exports, especially as Vietnam prepares for its entry into the World Trade Organization.

Meanwhile, Bien Hoa Confectionery Corporation or Bibica, who was official provider of confectionery for ASEM 5, has also got nod from the organizer to provide its products for APEC 2006. But total amount has not yet been made available.
