Being the director of a well-known and reliable cashew nut processing enterprise in Binh Duong Province, Ms Pham Thi Nhan is known as a dynamic entrepreneur. Additionally, she is always a reliable support for 900 workers, mainly the female.

Nhat Huy Co. Ltd was set up in 1998 and began operation in 1999 with headquarters and roughly 60,000-square metre factory in Hoa Lo Commune, Ben Cat District, Binh Duong Province. Nhan had experienced initial hard days in building and running her cashew nut processing factory, upgrading production facilities, stabilising workforce, searching best input materials and seeking partners and customers. In addition, the farm produce processing industry is very challenging. However, with her self-confidence and dynamics, she together with her husband Pham Van Cong was successful in building Nhat Huy Co. Ltd. Hence, thanks to its market keenness, Nhat Huy successfully approached numerous customers and maintained domestic market shares and export markets.
According to Nhan, to survive and develop in a strongly competitive market, Nhat Huy always has to renovate processing technologies to improve the product quality, upgrade its workshops and take care of its workers’ livelihood. However, like other manufacturers, she always tries to upgrade equipment to raise productivity and reduce labour costs.
As a leader, she is always very concerned about the development track of her company. After work, she is a normal wife and exemplary mother. She said: “In my opinion, the family is the foundation for the career; hence, no matter how busy I am, I spend the Saturdays to prepare meals for my family. This is a fixed schedule.” With her husband support and a happy family, she is able to overcome all difficulties and reap successes.
