Quality Prize Awards

The awarding ceremony for Vietnamese and Asia-Pacific Quality Prize will be held on December 17, 2006 in Hanoi by General Department of Standard, Measuring and Quality (Ministry of Science and Technology).

 

This year, the Organizing Committee will award 128 enterprises coming from 51 provinces and cities, with 122 awards of Vietnamese quality and six of Vietnamese gold quality. Dr Ngo Quy Viet, Head of the General Department said that awarded enterprises are from both production and service sectors with two enterprises receiving Asia-Pacific Quality Awards : Hanoi Beverage Corporation (Habeco) and Bac Ninh Electrical Equipment Plant (Hanaka).

 

Dr Vu Van Dien, Director of Vietnam Quality Centre disclosed that seven criteria for the award are : management, strategic planning, client and market planning, information and business analysis, human resources development, operation and business efficiency.
