Singapore's Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew visits VSIP

Singapore’s Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew visited and worked with Binh Duong Province authorities and Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park (VSIP) in the province on January 20. VSIP authorities introduced the operation, investment and construction situations, as well as investment policies of the Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park to the Minister Mentor and his entourage. After 10 years of operation, VSIP, which comprises of VSIP I and VSIP II, has to date attracted 290 investors from 22 countries around the world.
 
The investment capital reached US$1.5 billion and factories in VSIP created jobs for more than 40,000 people. In the coming time, Vietnam will build another industrial park under the VSIP model in northern Vietnam, aiming to host new waves of foreign investment inflows.
