Tan Hoa Plastics Holds Shareholder Meeting

Tan Hoa Plastics Joint Venture Company, the owner of Viky Plastic trademark, held its annual shareholder meeting on August 4, 2007. Ms Hoang Thi Minh Chau, chairwoman and general director of the company, said her company started construction on a plastic packaging plant in Tan Duc industrial zone in Long An Province in July. The plant covers 5 hectares, with first phase investment capital of VND116 billion (US$7.25 million).

 

In the first seven months, the company produced 3,442 tonnes of products and obtained total revenue of VND107.31 billion (US$6.3 million), fulfilling 51 per cent of this year’s full target, including VND21.7 billion from export. Tan Hoa plastic packaging products are supplied to leading companies such as Uni President, Cargill, Proconco, Baconco and CJ Vina. Besides, Tan Hoa also manufacture baskets for supermarkets exported to Europe for ARENA, Auchan, Carrefour, Leaderprice and Lacoste. It also manufactures agricultural bags for the Australian market.
