Vietnam Shipbuilder Plans Investment in Central Vietnam
State-owned Vinashin Business Group has obtained the go-ahead from central Khanh Hoa province to invest in a number of industrial parks and urban projects in Cam Ranh Bay region.
The Vietnamese largest shipbuilder will invest in three industrial parks, including Cam Ranh IP-township, South Cam Ranh IP and Hon Qui IP.
The giant shipbuilding group will also build a 200-ha Cam Phu-Cam Linh Urban Area and an ecotourism site in Hon Qui.
Vinashin will send detailed investment plans to the provincial government for consideration and approval.
The group aims to achieve revenues of US$1 billion this year.
