Coca-Cola with Business Support Programme
Recently, Coca Cola Company granted 50 scholarships to children of members in “Assistance to Business Means” Programme in Hanoi. Each scholarship is valued at VND500,000. This sum of money was extracted from Coca Cola’s assistance funds established in October, 2006.
Business Means Assistance Programme has been funded and carried out by the Coca-Cola Company and Vietnam’s Women Association since 2002, as an attempt to reduce unemployment and improve poor women’s living standards. Started in Ho Chi Minh City, the programme has so far provided push carts for more than 2,000 women for their business. The programme embraces positive social meanings, representing Coca-Cola’s interest in the Vietnamese government’s hunger elimination and poverty reduction activities.
