Hanoi to Build US$20M Modern Car Park
The Investment and Technology Development Co., Ltd (Mefrimex) has won the bidding to construct a modern car park in Hanoi’s Tay Ho district, local media reported.
The project is scheduled to be kicked off in March 2008 and completed in September 2009 costing US$20 million, said a Mefrimex senior official.
Once in place, the facility will cover an area of 20,400 square meters, he noted, adding that it will accommodate 2,000 cars indoors and 500 others outdoors.
It will offer a wide range of services from automatic car washing, professional maintenance to showroom and conference sites.
As many as 6,600 square meters will be reserved for green plants and flowers growing, he boasted, stressing that this is the first commercial project that include environment considerations. (Autonet)
