Korean Firm Okayed to Build US$180 Mln Wood Plant in South

Authorities in southern Binh Duong province December 2 allowed South Korea’s DongWha Group to build a wood processing plant capitalized at US$180 million.
 
Kyung-Sob Minn, DongWha’s management director, said the group will build the plant in Bau Bang Industrial Zone and use local rubber and cashew wood materials for processing.
 

Last year, Binh Duong attracted a record foreign investment of nearly US$2.4 billion, bringing the total FDI in the province to US$8.7 billion, with 1,500 projects. (Vietnam & World Economy)
