Mid-term CG Meeting to Be Held on June 5-6

A separate Vietnam Business Forum with the domestic and foreign business community will be held on June 5-6, 2008 in Lao Cai province, by the World Bank Group's private sector arm, the International Finance Corporation, in cooperation with the Ministry of Planning and Investment.

 

This mid year Forum will be dedicated to discussions on the following topics: Review of investment climate; latest issues in the banking and capital markets, manufacturing and distribution, and tax and reports from other VBF working groups

The Vietnam Consultative Group includes members of the Vietnamese government and representatives of both bilateral and multilateral donors. Deputy Prime Minister Truong Vinh Trong will also attend the upcoming event.
