Vietnam Industrial Mineral Sector Needs VND2.5 Tln by 2015
Vietnam will need some VND2.5 trillion (US$151.51 million) to explore, exploit and process industrial minerals by 2015.
The industrial minerals include serpentine, barite, graphite, fluorite, bentonite, diatomite and talc.
Under a plan approved by the Ministry of Industry and Trade recently, the sum will be used to explore, exploit and process the industrial minerals in order to meet domestic demands and export.
The ministry said various capital sources, including capital from the state budget, will be raised to implement the plan. (Vietnam & World Economy)
