Morocco, Vietnam to Develop All-Rounded Cooperation
Prime Minister Abbas El Fassi and his wife arrived in Hanoi Nov 23 to start an official Vietnam visit to boost the two nations’ all-rounded ties and enhance mutual support at bilateral and millstream forums.
On schedule, the Moroccan PM had talks with his Vietnamese counterpart Nguyen Tan Dung, pay courtesy visits to Party Chief Nong Duc Manh and National Assembly’s Chairman Nguyen Phu Trong.
PM Abbas also attended a Vietnam-Morocco business forum witnessed the signing of some cooperative deals between the two countries hosted by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) on November 25.
Cooperative pacts having signed between the two nations so far include a framework on cooperation in economy, culture, science and technology, a protocol between the two ministries of foreign affairs, an agreement on visa exemption for diplomatic passport holders, a protocol on industrial cooperation, deals between VCCI and the General Confederation of Employers of Morocco (CGEM) and the Moroccan Association of Industry and Trade.
