51 Individuals Win Citi Micro-entrepreneur Award 2008
The 2008 Citi Micro-entrepreneur Awards were held in Hanoi December 1 in recognition of the outstanding achievements of 51 micro-entrepreneurs and 15 credit officers across the country.
The US$60,000 award highlighted the achievement of those who have demonstrated creativity in providing and using microfinance services supplied by Vietnamese microfinance institutions.
This year’s award was funded by the Citi Foundation and jointly organized by the Vietnam Microfinance Working Group and the State Bank of Vietnam.
The award was held in Vietnam for the second time. (Youth, VNS)
