Construction on the 110-square meter factory is scheduled for December 3008 and is expected to be completed in July next year, the source said.
The factory will manufacture and assemble micro motor used for electronic products, including cameras, laser printers, and photo machines. It is expected to annually provide more than 136.3 million sets of super-small motors in the first phase of operation.
Its products will be supplied mainly to the factories of the Canon’s factories in Vietnam and other Asian countries.
The investment of Canon Inc. in Pho Noi A industrial park will create the motivation attracting the Canon’s satellite companies and other Japanese enterprises to invest in this industrial park in the coming time.
Canon Vietnam started operation in 2002 with the initial sales of some US$40 million.
