Good New for Pre-paid Subscribers of Mobifone

MobiFone officially announced the final phase of the implementation of the program, in which the accounts of pre-paid subscribers are doubled when they add credit to their accounts, in 5 days time from 25^th to 29^th of December 2008.

 

The subjects of this program consists of active pre-paid accounts and inactive pre-paid accounts which are currently locked two-way but still within the eligible number retaining period, they are eligible for this program when they add credit from 25^th to 29^th of December 2008. This program is applicable to the first credit top up card under the promotional period. Under the program, 50 per cent of the promotional value will be transferred to the subscribers’ account and 50 per cent will be transferred to credit bonuses for usage of voice and SMS services within MobiFone network.

 

From 2009, Ministry of Information and Communications plans to pass regulation in which the promotional value are not allowed to exceed 50 per cent of the value of price of services and goods. Therefore, it is anticipated this is also the last time the pre-paid subscribers of MobiFone can participate in the program which credit is increased 100 per cent in 2008.

 

According to analysis of Mr. Nguyen Dinh Chien- Sales Manager of MobiFone, the consumption trend for tele-communication services, especially mobile information, will increase strongly at the end of the year. Subscribers will take the opportunity of the year end period to share their successes, lucks, and difficulties they experienced in the last year. This is the period where consumers will have to balance their spending for the Tet occasion and MobiFone wants to share the worries of the customers through this gesture.

 

The value of top up cards of MobiFone ranges from VND10.000 (top up through MobiEZ) to VND500.000.
