CMC Integrated Rootkit Killing Function

CMC Information Security Joint Stock Company (CMC InfoSec) officially updated its antivirus and malware software, CMC Antivirus (CMC AV) and CMC Internet Security (CMC IS), integrated with anti-rootkit function, to support users to terminate and allow programmes on computer.

CMC AV and CMC IS will update new virus and malware threads in every five minutes from early March 2009 and CMC InfoSec will add new functions to its products to protect its users from threats, said Mr Trieu Tran Duc, General Director of CMC InfoSec.

CMC AV and CMC IS have been updated with CMC CodeWalker rootkit scanner. "Integrating rootkit scanning function enables CMC AV and CMC IS to detect and kill virus/malware", Duc added.

CMC Antivirus and CMC Internet Security will be live updated if the computers have active internet connections. For offline users, new update is available at http://support.cmclab.net/vn/index.php/board,19.0.html
