South Korea Wants to Expand Ties with Vietnam: PM Han Seung-soo
South Korea wants to continue expand and develop further the friendship and cooperation with Vietnam, Prime Minister Han Seung-soo said while receiving a Hanoi delegation in Seoul Mar 23.
Speaking with Pham Quang Nghi, who is Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, PM Han hoped to see the stronger cooperation between the two nations in general and two capitals in particular for the coming time.
PM Han Seung-soo said he is very glad to welcome Prime Minister Nguyen Tan when he pays an official visit to South Korea and attends the ASEAN+3 meeting in Jeju island early June.
The Hanoi Secretary thanked the assistance of the RoK government and South Korean businesses extending to Vietnam, including Hanoi, hoping that the bilateral relations will continue to be brought to a new height.
Earlier, Nghi and his entourages met with the Mayor of Seoul Oh Sei Hoon to discuss cooperative potentials between the two capitals. Seoul Mayor Oh expressed his wish to attend support projects to develop Hanoi, adding Seoul is ready to share experiences in urban development with Vietnam.
While their stay in the RoK from March 20-24, Hanoi guests visited and met with leaders of RoK major groups and businesses, including Kumho Asiana, Lotte group and Posco construction company. (New Hanoi, Vietnam Plus)
