Vietnam NA Chairman to Tour Russia, Czech and Belarus Late April

Chairman of Vietnam’s national assembly, the highest legislative body, Nguyen Phu Trong and his wife will pay visits to Russia, Czech ad Belarus late this month to reinforce bilateral ties with these countries, the NA’s External Relations Committee said on an announcement April 19.
 
The trip will be made at the invitations of Chairman of the Federation Council Sergei Mironov, Chairman of the House of Representatives of the Czech Republic Miroslav Vlcek and Chairman of the Council of Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus Boris Batura.
 
Last year, Vietnam posted the two-way trade of US$1.5 billion with Russia, US$294 million with Czech and US$124.6 million with Belarus. (News, The People)
