Steel Prices Continue Rising in Vietnam
The Vietnam Steel Corporation (Vnsteel) has decided to raise its selling prices again by VND100,000 per ton for rolled steel and VND150,000 for steel bar from April 23.
Currently, the corporation’s prices of one ton of rolled steel and steel bar (excluding VAT) are offered at VND10.09 million and VND10.69 million, respectively.
The Vnsteel has lifted its selling prices thrice with a total increase of VND400,000 per ton since early this month, Dao Dinh Dong, Head of the corporation’s Market Department.
The increases are mainly fueled by growing prices of imported steel ingot and scraped steel, said Mr Dong. (Young People)
