With over 80 years of experience, Teka has been a “household name” in European markets. Teka manufactures and markets high class equipments for kitchen and bathroom, stainless steel storage containers and electronics. Especially in kitchen appliance, Teka is among the leading sink and built-in appliance brands.

Due to a history of acquisitions, Teka today has a large range of professional products and solutions that enjoy strong positions around the world and can be found in 125 countries. Teka brand has been known in Vietnam for three or four years through its exclusive authorized distributor. As soon as the opening of retail market early 2009 pursuant to WTO commitment, Teka right opened its branch in Vietnam. Mr Pham Tran Phuong, General Director of Teka Vietnam says: “The opening of retail market means that consumers should benefit from a wider range of products, including major appliances, with higher quality and better after-sales services. However, as the market will be more cluttered, manufacturers and suppliers are also facing more challenges. New technologies, innovation and sensitivity to consumer needs are all needed to help a company remain competitive. Being one of the world’s leading built-in kitchen appliances and sinks manufacturers, we are very confident that its high quality products will gain more consumers’ confidence and trust in the years to come. Vietnam is a potential market for Teka Group and this new established subsidiary is not out of our unique goal – to better serve our customers directly”.

More than 100 products of Teka are to be introduced in all big cities of Vietnam including Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Nha Trang, and Da Nang. The company is preparing for expansion its distribution network around the country in the short coming time.

It is truth that there are many and many foreign brands in the Vietnamese home appliance market now with different models, quality and prices. One of the advantages of Teka Vietnam is 100 percent of its products imported from Europe including Spain, Germany Portugal. Teka products are produced with high quality materials and gone through the highest quality control standards. Additionally; Teka Vietnam puts a strong focus on the customer care. In order to develop a great sense of customer care, Teka Vietnam is making its effort to nurture the customer-retailer relationship and encouraging staff to do the same.

“The current economic turmoil partly affects our activities; however, the trend is very positive. More and more Vietnamese consumers shift their attention to higher quality products since the country becoming a member of WTO. The economy is still growing albeit the crisis and Vietnam still has a lot of potential for Teka Group and we strongly believe that Teka brand will have a bright future in Vietnam”, shared Mr Pham Tran Phuong.
