New Regional General Manager for Vietnam of InterContinental
On May 7, InterContinental Asiana Saigon announced the appointment of Philip Riley as the Regional General Manager for Vietnam. In his role Mr. Riley will oversee both the 305-room hotel and the 260-residential suites in the adjacent tower, as well as the various current and future sites of IHG in Vietnam. He will also be responsible for overseeing other existing and upcoming hotels in Vietnam.
Mr. Philip Riley brings over 20 years of hotel management experience to his new role. Prior to assuming his current role, Mr. Riley was the Regional General Manager for Western Australian/Northern Territory, Malaysia and the Philippines for IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group).
Located at the heart of Ho Chi Minh City's consular and commercial district, InterContinental Asiana Saigon will be the natural choice for savvy business travelers and will play host to the city's premier corporate and social events, as well as offering a new standard in residential living for tenants of the residential tower. It will be the second IHG hotel in Vietnam, following the InterContinental Hanoi Westlake in Hanoi and will lead the way for eight other hotels around the country.
