Vietnam Southern Province Invests US$50.3M for Third Gateway
Southern Ba Ria-Vung Tau province has just kicked off construction on a project worth VND856 billion (US$50.3 million) to build Cha Va bridge and road.
When completed in November 2011, the project is expected to form the third gateway connecting the project with other localities in the southern key economic zone.
The road is 4,926 meters long and 15 meters wide and the 17-lane bridge is 1,152 meters and 13.5 meters wide. The Cha Va bridge and Road will run from Go Gang Island to Long Son Island.
This is the longest pre-stressed reinforced concrete bridge in the south eastern region of Vietnam so far. (Investment)
