Vietnam International Telecom Conference 2009
The National Institute of Information and Communications Strategy (NIICS) under the Ministry of Information and Communications has recently held the Vietnam International Telecom Conference 2009 with the theme of “Building a Sustained Mobile Future and Broadband for Vietnam” in Hanoi.
The conference aimed at widening understanding of investment opportunities in the Vietnamese market for domestic and international investors, and facilitating Vietnamese telecom companies to acquire more new technologies, applications and services.
Vietnam Telecom 2009 discussed the nation’s IT and telecom development in the 2011-2020 period and plans to optimise mobile networks and internet connections throughout the country.
The meeting also introduced effective business models in mobile and broadband data services in the world.
Delegates and telecom companies discussed plans to develop telecom infrastructure as well as mobile communication and broadband development plans in the following years.
