HCM City Hosts Vietnam Fisheries Int'l Exhibition 2009
Vietnam Fisheries International Exhibition 2009 kicked off on June 12 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in HCM City, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) said.
The three-day event is expected to attract 180 enterprises from numerous countries across the world including Thailand, Norway, Germany, Japan, China, Singapore, the US, the Republic of Korea and Malaysia.
On display in 326 pavilions at the fair are various types of products and services relating to all aspects of the seafood industry: management, production, processing, packaging, as well as feeding and caring for livestock.
The event provides an opportunity for both local and foreign enterprises in the country to seek new markets, and partners.
Many seminars on seafood-related issues will also be held during the fair. (
