Vietnam Hikes Diesel Import Tax to 20 per cent

The Vietnamese Ministry of Finance has recently decided to raise diesel import tariff to 20 per cent from current zero percent.
 
The tax hike will be subject to customs declaration sheets from June 12 this year, the ministry said.
 
The ministry June 11 decided to cut import tax of mazut to 25 per cent from current 30 per cent.
 
Currently, a liter of gasoline A92 is priced at VND13,500, of A95 at VND14,000, of kerosene at VND13,000/liter and of diesel VND11,500/liter. (The People)
