Vasep: Vinh Hoan Tops Vietnam Pangasius Exporters in Jan-Apr
Vinh Hoan Joint Stock Company (coded VHC) took lead among domestic pangasius exporters between January and April with export volume of 12,347 tons valued at US$36.5 million, said the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP).
In May, Vinh Hoan Co. reportedly gained export turnover of around US$10 million-US$11 million, the association said.
Nam Viet Joint Stock Co (coded ANV) ranked the third with export volume of 14,674 tons worth US$28.109 million in the period.
An Giang Seafood Import-Export Joint Stock Co (coded AGF) stayed at the ninth with total export turnover in the first four months of US$10.68 million.
VHC, ANV and AFG are listing their shares on Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange.
In the first four months this year, Vietnamese business exported 162,900 tons of pangasius products valued at US$373.6 million, up 0.2 per cent in volume down 1.2 per cent in value against the same period last year. (Securities Investment)
