Vietnam Approves Double Taxation Avoidance Agreements with Qatar, Kuwait
The government of Vietnam said on its Website on June 18 that the prime minister has just ratified taxation avoidance and tax fraud prevention agreements with Qatar and Kuwait.
Vietnam signed the deals on March 8 with Qatar and on March 20 with Kuwait.
The government is trying to expand export markets and investment ties with the Middle East, Africa and Latin America amid the global downturn, state media said.
Trade with Middle Eastern countries increased 70 per cent on-year to US$2.03 billion last year, state media said. (chinhphu.vn)
