Vietnam H1 Plastic Exports to Fall 16.1 per cent to US$362Mln

Vietnam is estimated to have earned US$362 million from plastic exports in the first half of this year, an on-year decrease of 16.1 per cent, according to the Government’s General Statistics Office (GSO).
 
In June, the country’s plastic exports are forecast to decrease by 6.25 per cent on-month to US$60 million.
 
The country is projected to import US$450 million worth of plastic products in the first half, down 18.1 per cent on-year, including US$90 million in imports in June, up 5.882 per cent on-month. (GSO Jun 2009)
