Hanoi OKs Construction of VND70B Bridge
The People’s Committee of Hanoi has approved a project to build Ngoc Hoi bridge in district Thanh Tri with a total investment of VND70 billion (US$4.14 million).
The project includes construction of the bridge and roads at the two sides of the bridge.
The project’s investment preparation is scheduled to be completed in the third quarter of this year.
Once operational, the bridge will help to ease traffic jam for Hanoi and is expected to contribute to the socio-economic development for the city’s southern region. (Vietnam & World Economy, Urban Economy)
