HCM City to Host Vietnam Beverage Fair Aug 14
The Ministry of Industry and Trade will open the Vietnam Beverage Fair 2009 in HCM City on August 14, providing domestic beverage makers a chance to showcase their products.
The three-day event, which will also feature entertainment such as a carnival, dragon and lion dances, and music performances, will be covered by Vietnam Television and HCM City Television.
A conference on the domestic beverage industry during the economic crisis will be held on August 15 when officials from the Ministry and beverage firms will discuss ways to promote Vietnamese brands abroad.
Skateboard and dance contests will be held with prizes of up to US$500. (Saigon Economic Times)
