Vietnam, Mexico Promoting Trade, Tourism Ties
The Mexican Embassy in Vietnam and the Vietnamese Ministry of Industry and Trade co-held a Vietnam-Mexico trade and tourism seminar in Hanoi on August 25 in order to boosting bilateral cooperation in the fields.
The event, the first of its kind in Vietnam, was a great opportunity for Vietnamese tourism firms and exporters to get updated information on potential tourism and trade markets in Mexico, one of the world’s newly-emerging markets.
Mexico, which is a major tourist destination, boasts 26 UNESCO-recognized world heritage sites and many other tourist attractions.
Bilateral trade between Vietnam and Mexico expanded 15% to US$600 million last year. (Labor)
