INAX Vietnam Sponsors VND1B for Program "Operation Healthy Heart"

On October 8, 2009, INAX Vietnam Sanitary Ware Co., Ltd and Vietnam Television - Representative of Charity Fund committed to giving VND1 billion of charity sponsorship for the program Operation Healthy Heart (OHH).

 

According to this agreement, INAX Vietnam Sanitary Ware Co., Ltd will sponsor VND1 billion to conduct about 30 normal heart operations for the less than 16 year-old children who have the congenital heart disease and come from underprivileged families. These are also the urgent cases in need of immediate operation to continue keeping their life normal.

 

It is expected that the time for operation implementation is at the end of 2009 and in the beginning of 2010 in three regions, North, Central and South. The expense of the sponsors for each operation in the frame of the program is about VND30-35 million.

 

OHH is a partnership between Vietnam Television (VTV), East Meets West (EMW) and Vietnam Military Telecommunications (Viettel), formed to raise money to provide lifesaving surgeries to poor Vietnamese children suffering from congenital heart defects.
