On Oct 29, Volkswagen, the largest European carmaker today opened its first factory authorized showroom in the capital Hanoi, Vietnam. Volkswagen will initially introduce to the local market the following outstanding range: New Beetle, Passat saloon, Tiguan and Touareg.
The new 3,000 square metre facility is located at 315 Nguyen Khoai, Hai Ba Trung District, Ha Noi and features a showroom able to display up to twelve Volkswagen models and offer maintenance services to care for all of the customers’ requirements in a new purpose built Service Facility.
The showroom is designed according to the new Volkswagen worldwide corporate identity. The workshop is equipped with state of the art diagnostic equipment, a full complement of Volkswagen special tools and electronic access to all factory service and parts information. The service facility can connect with factory technical support and assistance if necessary via remote diagnostics.

This launch marks World Auto's introduction of four new models to Vietnam, including the Passat saloon, a fully equipped sedan for the modern statesman. The compact and sporty Tiguan SUV, which recently was awarded 5 stars for its safety by Euro NCAP. World Auto will be bringing the Dakar Rally-winning Touareg, built for the toughest road conditions Vietnam can throw at it, and of course, the car for which Volkswagen is known best - the Beetle. The New Beetle includes a striking, eye catching design and the latest in technology for the style savvy driver.
