Vietnam Jan-Oct Natural Gas Production Estimated Down 2.5% to 6.298B cu.m
Vietnam is estimated to have produced 6.298 billion cubic meters of natural gas in the first ten months of this year, down 2.5% from a year earlier, the state-run General Statistics Office (GSO) said.
The country’s natural gas production in October is estimated to fall 17.5% from a year earlier to 550.5 million cubic meters, the GSO said.
This year, the state-owned Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam), the country’s biggest oil and gas producer, expects to produce 8 billion cubic meters of natural gas. (GSO Oct 2009)
