Vietnam Firm Starts Building VND440B Seafood Processing Complex

Cong Thanh Trade and Production Co. Ltd has kicked off the construction of a seafood processing complex costing VND440 billion in Mekong Delta Tra Vinh province.

 

The firm will build the complex on a site of 7 hectares in Lang Chim fish port, Long Toan commune of Duyen Hai district, which will consist of a seafood processing plant with an annual capacity of 100,000 tons, a dried fish processing plant with an annual capacity of 800 tons and a fish- sauce processing plant.

 

The complex is expected to run in Feb 2011 and create 1,500 jobs. (Liberated Saigon)
