Vietnam Commercial Power Output Up 11.5% to 61.41 Billion kWh in Jan-Oct
Vietnam’s commercial electricity output rose 11.5% from a year earlier to 61.41 billion kWh in the first ten months of this year.
Electricity consumption by construction and industry sector rose 9.2% from a year earlier, accounting for 49.2% of the country’s total commercial power output.
Power quantity used by households and management sectors increased by 13.4% from a year earlier, representing 41% of the total commercial power output.
Electricity volume consumed by agro-forestry-fishery sectors rose 10.7% from a year earlier.
The country’s total electricity output in October was up 2.2% from September to 7.49 billion kWh, including 3.04 billion kWh generated by hydropower plants.
In Jan-Oct, the total power output rose 12.3% from a year earlier to 69.75 billion kWh. (Trade Information)
