Vietnam Electricity Production Estimated Up 12.3% to 69.7B kWh in Jan-Oct
Vietnam is estimated to have produced 69.7 billion kWh of electricity in the first ten months of this year, up 12.3% from a year earlier, the state-run General Statistics Office (GSO) said.
The country’s electricity output in October rose 17% from a year earlier to 7.5 billion kWh of electricity, the GSO said.
In September, Vietnam produced 10 billion kWh of electricity, according to revised GSO data.
Vietnam’s national power output in 2009 is estimated to rise 13% from a year earlier to reach 86.6 billion kWh. (GSO Oct 2009)
