WB to Fund US$150M for Mekong Delta's Road Projects

The World Bank (WB) has agreed to provide US$150 million to upgrade twenty six roads in five coastal provinces in Vietnam’s Mekong Delta region. 
 
The recipients are Ca Mau, Bac Lieu, Soc Trang, Ben Tre and Tra Vinh. Vietnam News Agency said October 28. Each province will receive US$30 million improve their road networks.
 
The bank’s delegation, led by Paul Valley, the WB’s project coordinator, worked with provincial authorities on October 27. (VNA)
