HCM City Licenses 20,000 Businesses in Jan-Oct
Authorities of Ho Chi Minh City licensed 20,031 companies with a combined registered capital of VND89.703 billion ($5 million) in the first ten months of this year, up 26% in volume and down 21% in value from a year earlier.
Total investment for infrastructure stood at VND83.091 billion during the same period, up 17.8% from a year ago.
Between January and October, the city pulled in a total foreign direct investment (FDI) of $822.4 million, down 89.7% against the same period of last year.
The city now has 3,092 valid FDI projects totaling $27.14 billion, ranking the first nationwide. (Saigon Marketing)
