Vietnam PM Meets Australian, Israeli Leaders in Copenhagen

Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung held separate meetings with Australian PM Kelvin Rudd and Israeli President Simon Perez Dec 17 on the sideline of the UN ongoing Climate Change Conference (COP15) in Copenhagen.
    
The Vietnamese PM highly spoke of Australia’s assistance in coping with climate change particularly in personnel training and exchange of meteorology and hydrographic experiences.
 
PM Dung asked Australia to consider early negotiations on the cooperation in labor, quarantine, vocational training and infrastructure.
 
PM Rudd says he will visit Vietnam next year and expects for an agreement on comprehensive partnership to be signed on his trip.
 
During his talk with the Israeli President, Dung urged Israel to speed up negotiations of agreements on investment protection and promotion, labor and marine transport to boost the bilateral trade.
 
President Perez said his country is willing to cooperate with Vietnam in various fields, particularly in agriculture, bio-technology and health. (VNA)
