VEC Gets Okay to Build US$1.1B Expressway
Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai has allowed Vietnam Expressway Development and Investment Company (VEC) to build Danang-Quang Ngai expressway worth US$1.1 billion.
The Deputy PM also permitted VEC to borrow the soft loans from the World Bank (WB) and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) to implement the project while asking local authorities to complete related procedures.
Once completed, the 125-kilometer long expressway will allow vehicles to travel at 100 kilometer per hour. (Investment)
