PetroVietnam Earns Revenues of VND265T in 2009, Surpassing 25% of Yr Target
The state-owned Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam) had earned revenues of VND265 trillion (US$14.34 billion) in 2009, exceeding 25% of its full-year target, Chairman Dinh La Thang said.
The group raked in US$7.82 billion from crude oil exports last year, surpassing 34% of its full-year target, said Mr. Thang.
PetroVietnam paid taxes of VND91 trillion in 2009, exceeding 48% of the year’s target, Thang attributed.
Its crude oil production in 2009 reached 16.3 million tons, surpassing 3% of its full-year target, he added. (Trade & Industry)
