Vietnam Crude Oil Production Rises 9.8% to 16.36MT This Year
Vietnam is estimated to have produced 16.36 million tons of crude oil in 2009, up 9.8% from a year earlier, the General Statistics Office (GSO) said.
The country’s crude oil production in December is estimated at 1.112 million tons, down 24.3% on year, the office said.
The nation is estimated to have exported 13.416 million metric tons of crude oil valued at US$6.21 billion in 2009, down 2.4% from a year earlier in terms of volume and down 40% in value, the GSO said.
Vietnam is forecast to produce 15.5 million tons of crude oil next year. (GSO)
