Amdocs Wants to Further Penetrate Vietnam Market: CEO
Amdocs, a U.S.-based provider of software and services for billing, customer relationship management and operations support systems, is seeking to become solution provider for telecom enterprises in Vietnam, a senior official said.
Tash Stamatelos, country manager of Amdocs in Vietnam told that penetrating further into Vietnam will help Amdocs expand its operation to telecom markets in the region.
“Vietnam is an important market for us because the country is among the last emerging markets in the world as said by Frost & Sullivan,” Tash said.
Amdocs has recently transformed its representative office into an official one in the country after three-year operation.
The American group plans to supply a suite of software solutions called CES 8 to both 2G and 3G service providers in Vietnam to help them expand networks, increase customers’ benefits and boost operational efficiency.
With the highest telecom growth in the region, Vietnam is expected to see higher growth in the coming years after 3G services came online. Only VinaPhone and MobiFone have rolled out the service, Viettel and EVN Telecom-HT Mobile plans to join the market by April, 2010. (Investment)
