Japan Sumida to Build $10M Electronic Accessories Plant in Vietnam
Sumida Electric Co., Ltd, a leading electronic component producer of Japan, has received a nod from Vietnam’s northern port city of Haiphong Economic Zone Authorities (Heza) to build a $10-million electronic accessories production plant in Nomura industrial park.
The plant will manufacture transformers, power wires, electronic consumer accessories, automatic industrial devices and health equipment.
All of the plant’s products will be exported.
The plant will cover 2,948 square meters of land in the IP and is expected for operation this May. (Trade & Industry)
